PopUp Bagels on Commonwealth Avenue in Plaza Midwood runs a rip and dip model: bagels sold hot in threes, sixes or dozens with a tub of schmear, no slicing and no sandwiches. The bagels come out with a golden crust and a chewy interior, and the scallion cream cheese is the one everybody orders. A second shop runs at The Bowl in Ballantyne.
