Prohibition

Prohibition is the Uptown bar and nightclub on North Tryon Street, dimly lit with a DJ, a lighting rig and a crowd that builds late, open Wednesday through Sunday until close and shut early in the week.

Bartenders including Khloe, Rachael, Jocelyn and Griffin are named repeatedly for keeping drink quality up in a room moving at speed, which is not typical of a club. Espresso martinis are the order. Thursdays can be quiet, weekends are packed, and sports play on the screens earlier in the evening. It is a night out. You will not hear each other.
