About
Providence Day School is the independent, nonsectarian day school on Sardis Road in south Charlotte, founded in 1970. It serves transitional kindergarten through 12th grade with a global studies emphasis, and it carries one of the largest enrollments of any private school in the region. Athletics compete at the top of the state’s independent school leagues.
