Restaurant Constance

Restaurant Constance is chef and owner Sam Diminich’s intimate farm to table restaurant on Thrift Road in west Charlotte. It is named for his daughter and sits about a mile from where he once experienced homelessness, and the restaurant carries that story in the way it treats people.

With just 36 seats, dinner feels personal. The menu changes constantly around seasonal North Carolina ingredients, so repeat visits are the whole point, and the Michelin Guide recommends it. Diminich’s second restaurant, Grey’s Diner and Community Kitchen on The Plaza, is the casual sibling.
