Romare Bearden Park

Romare Bearden Park is the five and a half acre Uptown park on South Church Street, named for the Charlotte born artist. It sits next to Truist Field, with open lawns, a waterfall, public art and skyline views. Cherry blossoms bloom in spring and draw photographers from across the city. It works for a festival, a concert, a food truck lunch or an hour before a Knights game. Festivals, food trucks and live music fill the lawn through the warmer months, and restaurants line every side of the park. It is the easiest green space to reach in the center city.
