Sneak CLT

Sneak CLT is the small cocktail bar on East 7th Street in Elizabeth. The room is dark and swanky, and the bar is the best seat in the house because watching the drinks come together is half the appeal. Cocktails here are careful and a little unusual, and the staff work as a team instead of as a group of individuals. A newer patio out front has heaters, so the bar stays usable through the cooler months. The bar is a good choice for a date or for a small group before dinner somewhere else in the neighborhood.

What to know

• The Slinking Over Sicily, made with gin and prosecco, is the drink to start with.
• Reservations are recommended, though bar seats are first come.
• Only one bartender works some busy nights, so drinks can slow down.
• The incense is very strong for a room this size.
• The bar is closed on Monday.
