About
The Dumpling Lady is a family-run Sichuan restaurant with its main dining room on West Tremont Avenue in South End, plus counters in Optimist Hall and Latta Arcade Uptown. The family moved to Charlotte from Chengdu in 2015 and began with a food truck in 2016.
House-made noodles, hand-wrapped dumplings and traditional Sichuan dishes make up the menu, all prepared from scratch. The cooking follows family recipes rather than American Chinese conventions.
