About
The Keepers of Balance is an adventure-style escape room company in an 8,000-square-foot building on West Woodlawn Road in Charlotte’s Lower South End. The local owners worked with former theme park designers on the games, which use live actors and physical tasks.
Players may climb, crawl, slide or rappel through three adventures: Quest for the Temple of Light, Defenders of the Sunken Realm and System Overlord. Quest for the Temple of Light ranked No. 81 worldwide on TERPECA’s 2025 list of top escape rooms and won a Room Escape Artist Golden Lock award in 2025.
