The Waterman Fish Bar

The Waterman Fish Bar is the casual coastal seafood restaurant on South Boulevard in Lower South End. A streetside patio and a rooftop both open when weather permits, and there is a bar inside. The menu covers oysters, a Connecticut lobster roll, lobster mac and cheese, voodoo shrimp and blackened fish platters. The hush puppies with honey butter draw more praise than anything else on it. The bar has become a Lower South End fixture, and the patio fills as soon as the weather turns. Oysters are the reliable order whatever else is happening on the menu.
