The Waterman Fish Bar

The Waterman Fish Bar is the casual coastal seafood restaurant on South Boulevard in Lower South End. A streetside patio and a rooftop both open when weather permits, and there is a bar inside. The menu covers oysters, a Connecticut lobster roll, lobster mac and cheese, voodoo shrimp and blackened fish platters. The hush puppies with honey butter draw more praise than anything else on it. It has become a Lower South End fixture, and the patio fills as soon as the weather turns. Oysters are the reliable order whatever else is happening on the menu.
