VINYL is the music themed bar and restaurant on South Tryon in South End, next to Wooden Robot and PIE.ZAA, with a DJ most nights, a full kitchen and a weekend brunch that is better than a bar’s should be. The doors stay open later than anywhere else on the block.

The food is the surprise: loaded fries, a real dinner menu and brunch plates from croissant French toast to steak and eggs. Big groups fit, birthdays happen here, and the music gets loud once the DJ starts, so eat early if you want to talk.
