World of Outlaws World Finals
Four days, Nov. 4 to 7 · The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway
Dirt racing’s three top series decide their championships in a four day showdown on the half mile dirt track across the road from the speedway. Sprint cars, late models and big block modifieds all crown their season champions here, and the biggest names in the sport run every night.
If you have never been to a dirt race, this is the one to start with. Winged sprint cars slide sideways at well over 100 miles an hour a few feet from the wall, and the Dirt Track’s grandstand puts you close enough to feel it. The finals draw fans from across the country and the campgrounds around the speedway fill for the week.
