A post-war neighborhood around Cotswold Village and Randolph Road, close to SouthPark and Uptown both, with mature trees and steady rebuilding.

Cotswold is the mid-century suburb east of Eastover and Myers Park, built in the 1950s through the 1970s around the Cotswold shopping center at Randolph Road and Sharon Amity, one of the city’s first suburban centers. Ranch houses on wide lots line the streets, and the teardown-and-rebuild cycle has been running for a decade.

If you’re moving here

Cotswold sells convenience: ten minutes to Uptown, ten to SouthPark, the grocery and the pharmacy at the corner, and Randolph Road’s doctors for everything else. The lots are the draw. A Cotswold ranch on a half acre is what buyers who can’t afford Eastover buy and then expand. It suits a family that wants space and a short drive in every direction, and a buyer comfortable with a house that’s either a project or a brand-new rebuild.
