Nakato Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Nakato Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar is a Japanese steakhouse in University City, from the Nakato family, who opened their first Charlotte restaurant in 1976 on Independence Boulevard. The University City location opened in 2004.

Chefs cook hibachi chicken, shrimp, steak and filet at the table, and every entree comes with onion soup, salad with ginger dressing, a shrimp appetizer, vegetables, noodles and rice. A full sushi bar sits alongside the grills.
