Counter-

Counter- is Charlotte’s first Michelin starred restaurant, and the first in North Carolina to hold both a Michelin Star and a Green Star for sustainability. Chef and owner Sam Hart runs it from a room on West Morehead Street in Wesley Heights. Dinner is a tasting menu of ten to fourteen courses that changes theme every few months, weaving food, music and Hart’s own stories into a single sitting. Everything is built on ingredients from farms around the state.

• Menus rotate, so a return visit is a different meal.
