Kabuto Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar is a Japanese steakhouse on Tyvola Road near South Boulevard, cooking hibachi in Charlotte for more than 25 years, according to the restaurant. The restaurant also runs Kabuto On Wheels, a fleet of three hibachi food trucks.
The menu covers hibachi chicken, shrimp, salmon, New York strip, filet mignon and lobster, plus sushi and a full bar with sake and Japanese beer. Party trays feed groups of six, and the trucks book private events.
