Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse – South Charlotte

Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar is a Japanese steakhouse on Pineville-Matthews Road in south Charlotte, in business since 1997. Hoodline reported in 2026 that each Kabuto location in the region is independently owned.

Hibachi dinners include soup, salad, a shrimp appetizer, garlic noodles, fried rice and vegetables, with proteins from chicken and filet mignon to a lobster, shrimp and scallop Seafood Delight. Hibachi lunch is served Wednesday through Friday, and the sushi bar runs weekly specials.
