What it is

Since 1994, the village of Fairhaven has taken over 25 acres in Huntersville every fall weekend: jousting knights on horseback, falconry, a sixteen-stage lineup of jugglers and comics, an artisan market of more than a hundred makers, and the turkey legs everyone photographs. Kids under five are free; costumes are encouraged and half the crowd obliges.

Saturdays and Sundays through November 22, 10:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Plan your visit

Arrive at opening on the first cool Saturday of October for the smallest lines. Parking is on grass lots off Poplar Tent Road and takes a while to leave. Our fall guide fits the festival into the rest of the season.
