How to avoid a bad groom

Almost every grooming complaint goes back to the drop off conversation. Say the length you want in inches or guard number. Not a word like short. Say whether you want matting brushed out, even if it costs more and takes longer, or shaved off. A groomer facing a matted coat will make that call for you otherwise.
